Is my data secure in Chores Together?
Yes. Chores Together is designed so your household data stays private and secure. Here's how your data is protected:

1. Your data is stored securely
All household and task data is stored in a private, access-controlled database (Supabase).
No one else can access your data because:
- Every piece of data is tied to your unique user/household ID
- Row-Level Security (RLS) rules prevent access by anyone outside your household
- Data is served only through authenticated requests

2. Household members only
Only people you invite to your household can see your shared tasks.
You control who has access at all times.

3. All communication is encrypted
Every interaction between your device and our servers uses end-to-end HTTPS encryption.

4. Only you can access your account
Your sessions and data are linked to your secure authentication token.
Nobody, including Chores Together staff, can see your personal data unless you explicitly share it.

5. You can delete anything at any time
From inside the app, you can:
- Delete tasks
- Leave households
- Delete your entire account (and all associated data)
Deletion is immediate and permanent.
